
My name is Manal and I’ve studied Nutrition with a specialization in Sports Nutrition. I chose to focus on helping people who struggle with weight gain and maintaining a healthy lifestyle because of my own experiences.
Growing up, I was always underweight. From childhood, I struggled with a small appetite, no matter how hard I tried gaining weight felt impossible. I understand just how frustrating, overwhelming, and isolating it can be when you’re striving to achieve something that feels impossible, even with professional guidance. Despite seeking advice from experts, I found that many didn’t prioritize or fully understand the challenges of being underweight, as the focus is often on combating obesity.
After countless doctor’s visits and medical tests, all revealing no underlying health issues, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
I decided to become a nutritionist to better understand the human body, the importance of nutrients, and how food plays a vital role in reaching our health goals. I immersed myself in studying nutrition and in 2.5 years, I gained 16 kg (35 lbs), which was a significant transformation for me. My goal was simple: if I could figure out how to achieve my own weight gain goals, I would dedicate myself to helping others in the same position. It’s true that the world is focused on the rising obesity crisis, and that’s a very real concern. But what often gets overlooked is the “minority” of people who are underweight or struggling to maintain a healthy weight.
That’s where I come in! I’m here to support those like me, who need personalized guidance and encouragement to reach their goals. I’ve been through it myself, and now I want to use my knowledge and experience to help you gain healthy weight and build a better relationship with food.
